Drill pocket holes though the cleats and secure them to the frame with 1 1 4 screws. To my relief the standards for making a crib were actually pretty straightforward. I just finished building your crib completion date. Next attach the 1 1 cleats to the interior faces of the bed frame in order to support the slats.

I built it out of cherry and it was my first furniture build before this i only did craft projects like clocks and scrollsaw fretwork. All parts complete the crib gets a few coats of paint. I would rather have made this as a christmas gift but the baby is due in like 2 weeks.
