Two sided printing can be performed manually using a printed document. Click file and then click print. Click the drop down arrow for copies pages and then select layout. Select letter 8 5 x11 22x28cm or a4 in the page size drop down on the page setup tab.

Canon refers to the act of two sided or double sided printing on its machines as duplex printing.
