It is quite strong compared to other pre hardmode underground monsters and has a special ability to become invincible for a few seconds. While the granite energy storm is alive the vanilla track boss 5 will play. The granite golem is a hostile enemy seen in a granite biome in hardmode and pre hardmode underground granite sub biome. They are made entirely out of granite blocks and granite walls and contain several pots.

Granite caves are generally wide open caverns dotted with occasional ledges though their shape may vary due to the presence of overlapping cave systems. Every few seconds it will shield itself from all attacks making it completely invulnerable note that it can still deal damage to players during this invulnerable state should they walk into it. The granite cave is a mini biome found in the underground and cavern layers.
